''Le motivazioni conservano la loro fertilità solo se il proprio legame col risultato finale rimane oscuro (...) . E' di vitale importanza per un buon progetto suddividere il processo progettuale in fasi che non abbiano una connessione ovvia col risultato finale.'' ( Anton Ehrenzweig, La psicoanalisi della percezione nella musica e nelle arti figurative, Roma, Astrolabio, 1977 )

Monica Graffeo. I was born in 1973 in Pordenone, where I attended classical studies. Afterwards I studied at the Scuola Italiana Design of Padua, where I earned a specialization in Industrial Design. Then I immediately started working with Gabriele Centazzo, Valcucine designer and owner, since I was already working for him while I was studying. In 1998 I began my professional career and the collaboration with Kristalia, for whom I not only designed products, but also worked as a consultant on product development (1998–2006). At the same time I also taught at the Scuola Italiana Design from 1997 to 2005. In 2004 I founded with some friends Disguincio, design company. From 2008 I'm Geelli art director and from 2012 I collaborate to art direction of Rexa. I am currently working as a free lance specialized in industrial design and I offer my services as a design consultant to various companies, such as Italamp, Martex Office, Geelli, Lago, Rexa and other.

Eleonora Castellarin. I was born and raised in Friuli. Stories of people and objects always fascinated me; the search of these stories has been the drive for my projects and writings. Over my BA studies at Iuav in Industrial Design, I've learnt how great designers have been able to create things by understanding their very context and moving forward. Right after graduating, I joined the R&D department at Osram Spa to develop high-tech LED lumineers. It has been an interesting opportunity to discover the beauty of light and high technology from within, and as well the importance of method and accuracy in design. I moved to Lausanne in 2011 to attend the master program in Product Design at ECAL, where I had the chance to boost my skills in design and to live a blow-mind international context. I've been working at Ecal for a couple of years as teaching assistant, learning a lot by being in contact with great designers and great students. On the side, I started freelancing for projects and writings.
